Governing the listing and rental of vehicles by Hosts on the Carveoo Platform

1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Host Terms & Conditions, the following definitions apply:

• "Carveoo" refers to Carveoo B.V., including its website, mobile applications, and all associated services.
• "Platform" means the digital marketplace operated by Carveoo.
• "Host" means a professional vehicle rental company or authorised operator offering vehicles for rent via the Platform.
• "Guest" means any person booking a Vehicle through the Platform.
• "Booking" means a confirmed vehicle rental transaction.
• "Service Fee" means the commission charged by Carveoo per completed Booking.
• "Vehicle" means any car or motor vehicle listed by a Host on the Platform.
• "Payout" means the amount payable to the Host following the completion of a Booking, after deduction of applicable fees.

2. Role of Carveoo

Carveoo operates solely as an online marketplace that facilitates Bookings between Hosts and Guests. Carveoo:

• Does not own, lease, or operate vehicles;
• Is not a rental company or transportation provider;
• Is not a party to the rental agreement concluded between the Host and the Guest.

All rental agreements are concluded directly and exclusively between Hosts and Guests. Carveoo facilitates the connection and provides Platform services. Actual payment collection and settlement require a separately approved and activated payment-provider arrangement; the current TEST PAYMENT method collects no money.

3. Host Eligibility & Registration

To register and operate as a Host on the Platform, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age;
• Be the legal owner or duly authorised operator of the Vehicle(s) to be listed;
• Provide accurate, complete, and verifiable information during registration;
• Submit valid identification documents and all required vehicle documentation;
• Maintain legally required insurance coverage for all listed vehicles.

Carveoo reserves the right to verify any information provided and to reject, suspend, or terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.

4. Host Obligations

Hosts operating through the Platform must:

• Maintain accurate vehicle listings, including correct pricing, availability, and descriptions;
• Ensure all listed vehicles are roadworthy, safe, and in compliance with local law at all times;
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances of Curaçao;
• Honour all confirmed Bookings and deliver vehicles as described in the listing;
• Conduct vehicle handovers in a professional and timely manner;
• Maintain adequate insurance coverage at all times for all listed vehicles.

Failure to comply with these obligations may result in account suspension, financial penalties, or permanent termination.

5. Service Fees & Commission

Carveoo records a Host service fee of 4% per completed Booking using the existing marketplace calculation. Displayed commission and earnings records are not deductions or transfers of money. Actual fee collection and settlement require the separately approved payment and payout integration. Carveoo reserves the right to revise its fee structure with reasonable prior notice. Special commercial arrangements may be available for large or professional fleet operators.

6. Payments & Settlement

The current TEST PAYMENT method simulates the native payment-status workflow without collecting or holding money. Carveoo does not provide an activated escrow or regulated fund-holding service through this installation. Real collection, automatic refunds and external Host payouts remain disabled until the approved payment and payout integration is available. Internal holds and review records do not hold funds. Carveoo may maintain review holds where:

• Rental-initiation confirmation is incomplete;
• An active dispute or investigation requires review;
• Fraud, misrepresentation or non-compliance with applicable law is suspected.

Payouts are subject to the conditions set out in the Host Policies & Regulations, which form an integral part of these Terms.

7. Prohibited Conduct

Hosts may not, under any circumstances:

• Accept, solicit, or process payments for Bookings outside of the Carveoo Platform;
• List or provide vehicles that are unsafe, uninsured, or non-compliant with applicable law;
• Misrepresent vehicle condition, specifications, insurance coverage, or availability;
• Engage in any form of unlawful discrimination against Guests;
• Circumvent, manipulate, or attempt to undermine the systems or processes of Carveoo.

8. Suspension & Termination

Carveoo reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate a Host's account, at its sole discretion, in cases of:

• Violation of these Terms or the Host Policies & Regulations;
• Fraudulent conduct or misrepresentation;
• Safety risks to Guests, third parties, or the Platform;
• Repeated unjustified Booking cancellations;
• Non-compliance with applicable laws or regulatory requirements.

In serious cases, Carveoo may take immediate action without prior notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Carveoo shall not be liable to a Host for:

• Accidents, personal injuries, or property damage arising from vehicle rentals;
• Loss of income or anticipated earnings;
• Third-party claims relating to vehicle use;
• Vehicle theft or misuse by a Guest or third party.

Carveoo's aggregate liability to a Host shall not exceed the total Service Fees paid by that Host to Carveoo in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Roadside Assistance & 24/7 Support

Hosts are required to ensure 24/7 roadside assistance coverage for all listed vehicles throughout any active Booking. Full details of this obligation, including consequences for non-compliance and Carveoo's right to intervene, are set out in Section 8 of the Host Policies & Regulations, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

11. Amendments

Carveoo reserves the right to amend these Host Terms & Conditions. Hosts will be notified of material changes via the Platform or by email. Required acceptance of revised terms must be an intentional action associated with the applicable version. Continued use alone does not replace that acceptance.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Host Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Curaçao (including the Civil Code of Curaçao and related legislation).

Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted exclusively to the competent courts of Curaçao (Gerecht in Eerste Aanleg van Curaçao), unless mandatory provisions of applicable law provide otherwise.

13. Acceptance

Submitting a Host application requires intentional acceptance of the applicable Host Terms & Conditions and Host Policies & Regulations. Account registration, browsing and continued use do not themselves record that acceptance. By intentionally accepting, you confirm that you:

• Have read and understood these Host Terms & Conditions in their entirety;
• Agree to be legally bound by all provisions contained herein, as well as the Host Policies & Regulations;
• Accept that electronic acceptance constitutes a legally valid agreement under Curaçao law.

Acceptance evidence records the accepting account, timestamp, applicable policy versions and content hashes, and the booking or application context where supported. The policy-acceptance receipt does not contain an IP-address field. Separate technical and hosting records may process connection data as described in the Privacy Policy.
